The aim of the operation is to improve the appearance of one or both ears. This surgery is called otoplasty and consists of a surgical incision performed on one or both auricles behind the pinnas. The incisions are invisible after the surgery. The operation takes up to 40 minutes to complete. The patient is placed under regional or general anaesthesia. Staying in the clinic after the operation is not necessary. Treatment can take up to 12 days.
