Arthroscopic surgery consists in making 2-3 small incisions measuring about 1 cm within the diseased joint. By means of these incisions the doctor inserts a micro-camera into the joint thanks to which he may see its interior on a monitor. On the basis of the viewed image the doctor sees the disease within the joint and by means of miniature surgical tools inserted through small incisions he may precisely perform the surgery. Joint arthroscopy is used to perform examinations or operations.
Warning! In the case of operations carried out for foreign patients require longer (up to 10-14 days) stay in EUROKLINIKA, for safe and complete withdrawal of all actions associated with the ongoing operation.
